Stuff: Happening

Oh, hullo there. I just wanted to drop in and let you know that I’ve spent the afternoon doing something I haven’t done in awhile: recording.

It’s true! Alert the media. Tell your friends. Call the President. And I’m not just recording one song, oh no. Once I’ve completed a round of vocal tracks, I’ll have not one, not two, but three new songs for you. Two of them have never been heard outside of a very small circle of friends and family. One has never been heard by anyone. Anyone.

Look for these to appear in the next few days. Unless my voice is in a lot worse shape than I thought, it shouldn’t take me too long to put down the vocal tracks.

Meanwhile, I’ve just realized I never noted here that Early Output is live at Amazon! You can go grab it here, should the spirit move you to do so. And it’s only $5.99. What a bargain!

Talk to you soon.

iTunes Get!

Well, that was surprisingly painless. The entirety of Early Output: 1999 – 2002 is now up on iTunes! The album includes all of Schroedinger’s Cat and all of Cheaper Than Skydiving, plus “Trigger-Happy Texan” and “Suburban Galileo,” the latter of which was not on the original Cafepress release of Early Output.

You can grab any of the songs from iTunes — or the whole 11-track album at a 90-cent discount! — by clicking here. And I’ve added an icon at the top of every page to take you to my artist page at iTunes, just for good measure. (There’s also one for Amazon, but at the moment that just takes you to a no-results search page. I’m future-proofing!)

I have to tell you, it’s weird as hell to see my stuff up on iTunes at the moment. It’s sort of similar to the first tape I made with my old band, back in the day; or the first CD we made. I guess it really is the future.
